For Adults, Coloring Invites Creativity And Brings Comfort

I was just talking about this with my spouse the other day. I’ve noticed a couple people posting on Facebook about getting a new coloring book or posting images of what page they’re working on. I find it odd in a way that this thing that was once considered the past time of children alone now appeals to adults.

I’m not immune, by any stretch. At the same time as I find it a bit odd, and although I haven’t purchased a coloring book since college, I do understand the desire to sit quietly with a set of colored pencils or even crayons, and just color within the lines given to you.

In a way, it’s a freeing activity. I recommend it to anyone.
